Le stanze sono spaziose, ma arredate con mobili abbastanza vecchiotti. il bagno in particolare molto andante (anche se pulito).

The walk from the train station was a bit further than we expected, rolling our luggage, but not too bad. had to ask for directions, but everybody knows the ultonia. the walk from the hotel to the plaza independencia (and bridge to the old city) takes 4 minutes. the hotel charges for wifi - 3 euros per hour. there is free wifi at the cafe at the northwest corner of the plaza independencia.

The ultonia is in an excellant location for visiting the old town, five minutes walk across the river via one of the many bridges. it's also a maximum ten minute walk to the bus and train station which are right next to each other and are well signposted. the only drawback was that it is situated on a very busy road and traffic noise could be a problem. didn't bother us though. plenty of bars and restaurants virtually on the doorstep. mini bar in room very reasonably priced.

Very good location, helpfull staff, good breakfast. lift not working on day of arrival - but fixed the next day. would stop there again.

Hotêl très accueillant. réception impeccable et toujours prête à rendre service. petit déjeuné inclus très copieux. situer à 15 min à pieds de la gare. hotel à utiliser en cas de halte pour l'aéroport de gerone car taxi 30€ ou bus depuis la gare routière à 15 min à pieds 2.15€.

Decent location, follow train lines into town for about 10 mins(walking from bus/train station). great frankfurter/hamburger/beer bar around the corner called frankfurter king. very cheap prices and tasty food. hotel was too hot with no air con working. tv had no english chanels only german and obviously spanish. ok if you are on a budget, but for the same price you can go all iclusive in the costa brava like lloret de ma e.t.c if you are on a fag run try staying at the airport hotel called valobi, same price but better hotel.

Buono personale gentile e disponibile, arrivando di notte dall'areoporto con il pulman documentarsi bene sul percorso pur essendo in centro gerona è deserta non ho visto taxi e nessuna persona.
