A perfect start of our stay in bali!

Whether you plan to stay long or short in bali, ubud is definitely a place to visit! we chose to go directly here for our first 3 nights (of 8 in total) and got a perfect start! tjamphuan hotel and spa looks like a place for royals, ylu feel like living in a topical garden while having so much to see and do in the close vicinity. given the (often horrible) traffic conditions in bali, a stay in ubud is worth many long hours in the car if you plan to experience cultural places!

Paradise in the jungle

Tjampuhan is an outstanding hotel. the service was impeccable, the setting absolutely surreal. it was so beautiful relaxing in the forest by the river. only thing worth mentioning is that your rooms are usually quite a few steps away from the main entrance. when it's raining the mossy steps get very slippery so care must be taken. with that in mind , it was still an amazing hotel to visit. everything was clean, buffet breakfast was first class and the staff can't do enough for you. very spacious rooms.

Heaven haven

Absolutely luscious hotel! from the room, to the spa , to the food and gracious staff tjampuhan is an absolute diamond of ubud. highly recommend this paradise for anyone looking for something special and particularly romantic.

Good hotel blended with nature

The hotel is located on a mountain slope, next to little river. beautiful lush terraced gardens, views, traditional balinese design create atmosphere of a tropical paradise. very peaceful, relaxing place with very good restaurant (reasonably priced). however, bathroom in the room needs updating and breakfast variety and quality could be better. location is 10-15 minutes walk from ubud palace by the main road, close to campuhan ridge walk.
