Priced well for geneva, i suppose, but i wish i had opted to pay a bit more for a nicer hotel. this is the kind of place where there is no one to help you with your bags. the rooms are very small and somewhat dreary, with old scuffed and nicked furniture. it has the appearance of a very old hotel where someone once tried to "modernize" things with paint and a few lamps, and now even these modernizations seem old and dated. the breakfast was really expensive, but very inattentively run, and by 9 am, either they had run out of bread or no one had bothered to bring any bread to the buffet. the entire hotel just seemed badly managed. this type of old building with art nouveau touches, a tiny elevator, a pretty breakfast room could be a really charming hotel-- but this place misses the mark.
