It's perfect when arriving from the airport with train, and it's only 2 minutes from the opera and in walking distance from museums etc.

We had a fine stay at the thon hotel opera. it was a very quiet hotel, and very professionel staff, although not warm. the breakfast was really good, only we would´ve liked espresso available, too.

In front of oslo central station, a neat and clen room, friendly staffs, breakfast is okay, convenient to the sightseeining and shopping centers in oslo city. there was one pc in a business center, but i hope there were at least 2. i have to wait long to use it (actually a kid playing pc game on it, sometimes).

Great location. we flew to oslo after 18 hours of flight and arrived oslo international hospital around 2230. we were quite tired and was glad we chose this hotel since it is just by the oslo sentrum station where the airport train stopped and could easily get to it after a long journey, even more glad since it was raining at the time and glad this hotel is just closed by so we do not have to walk in the rain for a long time. we also joined the norway-in-a-nutshell tour with the train departing from the sentrum station, so we can leisurely get to the train station after breakfast. although the rooms were smaller than expected, it was quite well equipped with electric jug except there was no security safe in the room. one other hidden gem is that the restaurant is directly opposite the newly built opera house. the opera house is just 5 minutes walk using a bridge which is only a stone's throw to the hotel.

It would`t cost much to make irons available on demand - and double room means a double sized bed not 2 singles put together.
