Location, location, location

Second year in a row staying at this hotel purely down to it's location which is in walking distance of eveything we required and also on the underground line to heathrow airport. very comfortable and clean hotel with excellent and friendly staff. no charges for wifi which is important to me as i would never choose a hotel which charged for that service. rooms are of good quality and have everything you need. they are small though this is central london so no complaints as the comfort was excellent. breakfast was included and was excellent. we will be back next year.

Theatre stay

Great location, very central for walking to oxford street, soho and theatreland, good breakfast and good price for all these things.

London weekend

All was as expected really. great location, literally next door to mamma mia (which was why we picked it in the first place). bit of a stitch-up on the price maybe but hey ho this is as central london as central london gets, in the week before christmas so what else could we realistically expect? bit of a mix up on the room not being ready in time, but no big deal and the reception staff handled it fine. we were in a family room on the top floor, which was really spacious with a bed the size of texas (really just 2 singles bolted together but you couldn't really tell without looking). a sofa bed for our little 'un too. room furnishings/decor maybe a little dated and 'lived in', but i imagine this is a really high traffic hotel so it will get well used. breakfast was good, decent quality and good service. all in all, very good stay and great to be in the heart of london at this time of the year.
