We had stayed in the uppercrosss house hotel before so we knew what to expect. friendly, homely atmosphere, clean tidy and thoroughly recommended. the fact that it is 2km from the city didn't worry us - we enjoy walking.

Our stay at upper cross house was all that we could have asked for in terms of satisfaction, service, cleanliness, friendliness and all other 'nesses! the location might put some people off, but there is an adequates bus service, nearby taxi rank and it is possible to walk into central dublin, even at our age.
