Basic, friendly and comfortable.

I was attending a concert at the motorpoint and really didn't fancy the 1+ hour drive home afterwards, so booked to stay at the big sleep. so handy to the venue. the receptionist was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. the parking is very tight at their small car park but she directed me to an alternative, near-by car park, the same price as their overnight charge. the room was spacious if a little sparse. no tea-making facilities, shampoo or fancy trimmings but a functioning tv, thick fluffy towels and plenty of hot water. the bed was comfortable and the building quiet. the early morning call was on time. breakfast was continental and plentiful; a good range of pastries, toast, yoghurt, fruit, boiled eggs, choice of juices, tea and coffee. perfect for my needs. i would definitely stay there again.
