The barrymore was just what we needed, convenient and close to downtown and ut. it was very busy with new ut students but coped okay - bit of a problem with our booking but they quickly resolved it. the hotel decor etc is a little tired but not a problem for a short stay.

We had a terrific stay here. my girls and i took our daddy/daughter trip to tampa to enjoy a concert and see the city. the staff was super friendly and attentive, the bar service was excellent (dione did a great job serving us drinks and helping us plan out our daytime activities!), and the room was comfortable and clean. we really wished we could have spent several more days here. the hotel is close to everything we wanted to see and do. i highly recommend a stay at the barrymore.

The hotel was so easy to get to from the interstate. a perfect location for going to stranz center. we had a wonderful king sized bed, refrigerator and micro wave in our room. we utuilized the free internet in the lobby. everything was great until we took a tepid shower the next morning.
