We love the place. it is a long ride from jacksonville but well worth the ride. due to an emergency after departing on august 12 and getting as far as ellenton we had an emergency and had to travel back to jacksonville.we called south seas resort to see if we could up our stay one day instead of the 12th. they up it to the 13th thru 16th. this was good customer service. our stay at south seas was great. we love the whole island of captiva. the resort was fantastic. we plan on continuing coming down.the whole vacation was great.
