Lovely city although it poured down. hotel savoy was placed very near the via veneto so restaurants, cafe, and trattoria. were very pricy . the metro was a 10 minutes steep. walk on the way back. we had a classic room but no dressing downs in bathroom although the site was showing it. the price we paid was very reasonable as it was beginning of december . on the whole it was good value for money.

Will definately stay here again next time we're in rome. the location is excellent, only a few minutes walk from the trevi fountain and spanish steps. the staff couldnt have been nicer, the reception staff were very helpful and the breakfast staff the friendliest we've ever experienced. the rooms are a good size and spotlessly clean. when we arrived the room was very warm but once the heating was turned off it was perfect.

Excellent location, breakfast is good and easy access with the car. multiple option for parking and easy access to public transportation.

I reside in the rep of ireland. i met my brother, ( from south africa) and my sister ( from australia) for a reunion after 10 years. after travelling through the north of italy and having stayed in some really bad "4 star" hotels, we were very surprised at the standard at the savoy. it was receoomended to us and i must say that we werre not disappointed. the location was par excellent. after a weary day of sight seeing the hop on hop off dropped us off literally at the doorstep. the day we left , they kept our bags and arranged a taxi to the airport. they definitely went out of their way to make us comfortable.

Extremely well appointed,great location.roof top garden bar and restaurant to relax and enjoy a quiet drink well away from the crowds, staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. breakfast was excellent with a great choice, loved the flexibility of the coffee machine!!!! rooms were very well decorated, bathroom facilities excellent.no complaints what so ever. would most certainly return and recommend to friends.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. good assortment of items for breakfast. great view from the rooftop terrace and bar/restaurant. although, we only visited the rooftop once during our four night stay, as we were out sightseeing until late in the evening most of the time.
