A good value for downtown chicago

I read the negative reviews in tripadvisor. yes it is old, yes it could use some new carpet, yes there was a cracked bath tile in my room, yes it needs paint. but the towels were fresh, the bed was clean and the a/c worked just fine. they even had a coffee maker in the room. we were not there to lounge in the room. we stayed two nights for what we would have spent for one night at other hotels in the neighborhood.

Chicago for business

The rooms are quite small but the price and the location are very convenient.
