We had to spend first night at a nearby hotel because air conditioning wasn't working but hotel paid for taxi and our room was excellent. quattro fontane was a beautiful hotel in a peaceful location with vaporetto stop just across the road, although timetable was erratic! breakfast was excellent and female waitresses pleasant and obliging, with the option of a beautiful shady garden setting. the cost of beach cabin at the private beach was exorbitant at 66 euros per day. we had to use a local beach not widely advertised which cost 24 euros per day for an umbrella and two sunbeds and a shared changing cabin. the information about local buses, restaurants, vaporetto times was minimal. bar pleasant but expensive.the optional meals were good quality and value for money.
