Stayed one night, single room. room was a fair size with a comfortable bed. only down side maybe the room was a littke stuffy. enjoyed breakfast too good choice and quality. fantastic location two minutes away from gloucester road tube station walking distance to natural history and science museums and knightsbridge.

(ita/en) quando prenoto una "standard room" in un 4 stelle, lo standard dovrebbe essere quello di un 4 stelle!! per avere questo, invece, ho dovuto pagare un extra di 250 gbp: la camera riservata infatti era un buco con un letto che non credo si possa definire matrimoniale. per di più al nostro arrivo era gelida, nemmeno il riscaldamento acceso! il soggiorno è stato buono, ma perchè ho pagato di più! when i book a "standard room" in a 4 stars hotel, i suppose to find a "4 stars standard", not a little hole with a small bed; moreover, when we arrived, the room was extremely cold! to have what they call a "family room", a normal room, i have payed a plus of 250gbp!! finally, my sty was good: but only thanks to the surplus payed!!

L'hotel è molto vicino alla stazione metro gloucester, in posizione centrale (zona 1), quindi molto comodo per visitare i vari punti turistici di londra. il personale è gentile ed efficiente, la colazione buona con un buon servizio. le stanze di categoria standard sono un po' piccole ma il letto è comodo e si dorme bene (non c'erano rumori). il bagno è l'unica "pecca", nel senso che dispone (quello che avevamo noi) di una vasca da bagno con doccia fissa dall'alto che non puoi regolare con il classico braccio, quindi un po' scomoda. inoltre è molto piccolo. comunque se tornassimo a londra, sceglieremmo di nuovo questo hotel perché ci siamo trovati bene, a patto però di trovarlo in promozione, perché per essere un 4 stelle dovrebbe offrire appunto un bagno migliore e il prezzo da listino è alto in proporzione.

Having read a few reviews on this hotel i was a bit nervous but i really could not fault the hotel anywhere. the service was great, the price was under £200 for 2 nights (in a 4 star in central london its great), the breakfasts were high quality and the location is wonderful for shopping and sightseeing. don't be put off by the naysayers, this hotel is absolutely fine.
