Room review

I had a great stay, the hotel was perfect location for a conference and walking distance from train station. i loved my room! huge bathroom and a choice of double beds. also a corner room so lovely and quiet and the double glazing worked brilliently as heard no street noise at all. big downside was the bed (both of them in fact) as they were so lumpy it was impossible to sleep. in the end i had to fold a double duvet in half and use that on top of the mattress. everything else was brill though and would definitely stay again if better beds!

Hampden weekend

Our room turned out to be a large suite which had a dvd player and cd player (neither of which we used, but they were available) and two televisions. there was also a large bathroom. the reception staff were friendly and the hotel is centrally located. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - and the room surpassed our expectation for the price we had paid.

September weekend away

We have been to this hotel before and really enjoyed it but this time we booked through hotelsclick.com and found the price was better this way, hotel staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble, would definately recommend.

Park inn glasgow in september

Stay began very disappointly as in spite of us having paid in advance, they tried to get us to stay in another hotel. only when we made it clear that we did not want to move did they take our booking. this has made us concerned that a similar situation may occur again if we book with hotels click.

Great hotel

This hotel must have the best staff ever. having stayed in hotels all round the world,the the staff at this hotel are head and shoulders above any where else. hotel is great food lovely and the rooms are great. look forward to staying again

Park inn? preferred it when called langs hotel

Our favourite when staying in glasgow. good location next to the buchanan bus station so easy for the airport bus, and the underground and shops. no nonsense rooms with good bathrooms, interesting showers. comfortable beds.

Park inn review

Room was a fair standard but unfortunately the outlook was awful- right on to the air conditioner system on the roof which totaly blocked light and view- this was a standard priced room and no deduction made from price for the situation of the room.marked down on cleaning because glasses and ice bucket were not moved from our room the next day, and although bed had been remade , the bathroom had not been given a proper clean at all - disappointing!reception was okay but not particularly welcoming .breakfast was standard help yourself but dining room was cold. hotel location was great - city centre across from royal concert hall .

General overview

Outwardly looks the same. the room at same price as our stay in october. no carpet on floor.smaller room. no suite. would have expected complimentary bottled water. kettle faces wrong way which causes chance of steam burning when removed to fill cup.decor getting a bit dated,tiles in shower a bit past their best.breakfast not as good as last time. all in all standard seems to have dropped.

Ending of holiday

We stayed here after arriving at glasgow airport late. the location of this hotel was perfect for our next leg of our journey which was by bus. the bus station is right next door. this is our fourth stay here and we would certainly book through this company again. the food is really very good. cleanliness and friendliness of staff couldn't be better.

Simple, clean, unfussy, good access to city and galleries etc

Although we booked two rooms at the same time they were on different floors - would have been useful to know this in advance - would have been a big problem if we were booking as a family not just friends. they removed our bathrobe from the bathroom and it's now lost in their laundry system (it is very similar, apparently, to their robes). good bathroom and shower. room not big but adequate - small window. clean, unfussy styling. quiet if keep window closed (it was in the middle of the city though). good access to bars, restaurants, galleries, shops, public transport. spa services booked up all w/e!

Lovely, friendly hotel

We arrived to find a very modern hotel with a lovely bar area and restaurant. unfortunately the booking had not actually been placed with the hotel but luckily we had our paper work and they had a room free. the staff were very friendly and polite. the room was modern and very clean, little on the small side and some of the wood work needed attention and some painting needed but on the whole a very nice hotel.

First class service

My friend and i decided to have a girlie weekend in glasgow, we booked the hotel because of its location and it couldnt have been better. the bus from the airport terminal left us at the bus station which was next door to the hotel. the hotel was opposite the buchanan galleries, high street shops, near the cinema, restuarants and bars - really ideal when you are not very familiar with glasgow. as soon as we walked through the door we were made to feel very wlecome. the staff were pleasant, chatty and seem to want to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. they asked if we needed any directions to any particular shops and even though we were not expecting to be able to check in until 3pm, they told us that our room was ready - this was at 9.30am! the hotel room was gorgeous and very clean. we were surprised to find that we had two floors in our room - great for two girls getting ready to go out at night! the breakfast, which was included in the price of £99 per room was excellent and very enjoyable. i will definitely bbe going back - it was great value for money and we both had a great time thanks to the staff of langs.

Good value for money and great central location, though could do with a bit of attention to detail - our bathroom could have been cleaner and paintwork in general needs touched up. breakfast was good, staff ok and pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was for city centre.

My comments about lamgs hotel - glasgow

Liked hotel and location however have following comments - we had booked 2 rooms , mine happened to be without air conditioner and would have much preferred the shower cubicle than a shower in a bath like i had. my friends's room which overlooked main road had all these. when i asked to change room same as theirs, reception were not so friendly and shoved it off quickly with "hotel is full".it would be better to tell clients beforehand what facilities/comodities the room they will be getting will be having!!

A night in the city

We wanted a hotel close the the concert hall as we were going to see james taylor, langs was ideal. the room was immaculately clean, the beds comfortable and the room well equipped. my only criticism would be the noise in the corridor during the night - i guess the ear plugs they provided should have been a clue! overall good value and a great location, though if i had paid rack rate i probably would have felt a bit let down.

Overnight stop at langs

We selected langs because it is located next door (5 mins walk) to the buchanan bus station, glasgow. we had an early connection to make on monday morning, so elected to stay there on sunday night to avoid early morning travel hassles. everything worked very well. check in/out was very efficient and the hotel provided excellent facilities for an overnight stay - including a relatively early breakfast before departure.
