The hotel is certainly big and very modern. so large, well-appointed bedrooms and state of the art bathrooms can be taken for granted. but the bar area lacks atmsophere and doesn't get the best out of the spectacular views. and close inspection reveals some fairly shabby building work - wobbly light switches, unfinished plaster work, suggesting a rush to get the rebuilt hotel open as soon as possible. and the location is not ideal - well away from many of the attractions of old cadiz.
