We enjoyed our 5 night stay in venice. palazzo la scala is very centrally located and the hotel gave great directions on how to fined them from the airport. our superior room had a king sized be, on-suite bathroom with shower and was up to date and clean. lots of hot water! the staff was knowledgeable, friendly, spoke very good english and were attentive....they knew which room we were in every time we walked in the front door and handed us the right key! the five table breakfast room was staffed efficiently and the breakfast rolls, ham, cheese, croissants and breakfast filled pasteries were fresh and abundant. great coffee! the hotel is a litttle spendy but its location made it worthwhile.
