Business trip

The former comfort inn now part of the ramada range of hotels still has the feel of the comfort inn and hasn't reached the standards of other ramada hotels. its well situated and reasonably priced but the shower and bath controls were confusing.there are insufficient plug sockets and the fact that breakfast finishes on the dot of 9 am and anyone who oversleeps will not be admitted is irksome. it makes a good business hotel but may not suit families

Does the job

Stayed here many times. it is very convenient for transport with frequent bus service to tube or elsewhere right after outside. not luxurious but great for the price. comfy beds and excellent bathroom facilities.

One night at comfort inn finchley

Good hotel if you are travelling by car. great if you need to be in area. would stay again. rooms spacious and spotless. continental breakfast not much, would suggest full breakfast included in price for all clients. good value for money.

Comfort inn, finchley

Pleasant room, fairly recently refurbished compared to other comfort inns i've visited. dining room a bit basic & poor choices for breakfast again compared to other comfort inns. overall, good for short stay.

Very comfortable

It is easy access from the north circular,has very comfortable beds, superb breakfasts(all feshly cooked ) the only dissapiontment was the water supply for making tea, a plumbed in instatanious water boiler would be so much better than using thermos type flasks.

Love the comfort inn finchely

It isn't often that you visit a hotel year on year to see the same staff clearly enjoying their work. a very friendly team. a relaxed atmosphere where guests are made to feel at home.

Sejour 5 jours à londres

Un très bon hôtel les chambres sont très propres wifi internet très rapide . la chambre est très large et très propre , impossible d'ouvrir les fenêtres car climatisation. la seule critique est le déjeuner qui est anglais n'est pas très bon mais il y a des restaurants à coté pour déjeuner ou diner . je recommande cette hôtel qui est très bien pour séjourner un weekend. very good nice hotel and close for the station east finchley i will recommanded this hotel because it very quiet and very clean bedroom

Saturday night stay

Ideal for a one night stay. no complaints. its a quiet location with easy access. the room was sizeable, comfortable bed and clean. car park adjacent.breakfast good.very good value for money.

Comfortable comfort inn

This hotel was excellent value for money, and we found it to be very quiet even though it was near the vue cinema, hollywood bowl and popular restaurants. it was ideally situated for where we wanted to be, although if you really want to be spending most of your time in the centre of london, it will take you the best part of an hour to get there via bus (just nearby) and underground. the beds were very comfortable and it was warm and clean. breakfast was self-service and quite adequate. we would be happy to stay there again and to recommend it to others.

Home from home

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel and we have found the facilities to our liking. it is easy to get too from kings cross as the bus stops right outside, it is also surrounded by some good restaurants and entertainment venues. the accomodation is reasonable, but requires some updating ie. some of the bed matresses are uncomfortable.

Reasonably priced

A little tired in places, i personally found the bed uncomfortable, but others in my party didn't complain. hotel was clean and although not offering a lunch/evening service in the restaurant, was close to amenities - cafe rouge/pizza hut/mcdonalds and a chinese within a couple of minutes walk. cinema on the same complex as the restaurants. david lloyd leisure centre to rear. underground 20 mins walk. parking can be a problem if you arrive later in the evening, as the hotel has designated spaces but these are sometimes taken by restaurant clientele. this sounds a bit like a moan, but at the price, was very good value.

Comfortable, clean and friendly

I stay here regularly and am always happy to stay here. the rooms are comfortable, clean and warm. the shower is always hot and strong. breakfast is good and plentiful. wifi is free. staff always helpful and charming. in some rooms the bathroom decor is a bit tired but i understand they are gradually updating rooms and it is always spotlessly clean throughout.

Comfort inn finchley

- nearby cinema/bowling/restaurants/busstop - shopping about 10-15 minutes walk northwards (nice shops) - breakfast contains: cereals/grapefruit/yoghurt/ baked beans/fried egg/bacon/sausage/toast/(pancakes with christmas)/coffee/tea/milk/juice - breakfastroom is too small for hotel (more people than seats - if it is busy), but if you have a seat you have enough privacy - coffee/tea making facility in room - hairdryer in room - enough space in room - rooms frontside hotel can be noisy, because people who smoke are standing outside and you can hear them talking and even smelling the smoke - rooms/bathroom need bit of renovation e.g. curtains in our room needed a bit of sewing, but they didn't put any light through though which is nice

Good value

I booked four rooms here for family. very good value with excellent breakfast included. nice to have a bar facility in a hotel of this price range. rooms were good but two of our rooms were downstairs and i think these could do with refurbishment - one room had holes in the curtains. the bathrooms were clean but smelled a bit like a care home. overall, good value for money with parking included.

Good north london base

We have stayed at this hotel a few times when we are visiting london. it is easily accessible from the north circular and the tube station is 5 mins drive away. the station car park is very reasonably priced. it is a no frills hotel, that provides a good standard of cooked buffet breakfast included in the price

Excellent hotel

Found staff very helpful and welcoming. easy to park on arrival (at no cost). excellent for transport into central london. if things are not right the staff will do their utmost to deal with any problems. would recommend it to anyone. disappointed that the prices seem to have increased for future bookings.

1 night - comfort inn finchley

Clean and adequate. lift not working but needed a ground floor romm as my husband is disabled. staff did find a suitable room on ground floor. also all disabled parking occupied with non-disabled stickered cars. need a system of reserving parking for registered disabled guests. very good value as breakfast was pleasant and tasty.

Good choice - the comfort inn

Large and clean rooms. parking was easy. very quiet (!) for london. good staff. only negative was that the rooms are very hot and do not have air con. perfect for my week long stay.

Did the job!

For a three star hotel i wasn't expecting much but it exceeded my expectations. the rooms were large and clean, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast hot and plentiful (and included in the price). all together a bargain. the only downsides were the bathroom was a bit old and tired and the distance to the tube but i was aware of this before i booked so no surprises. i would stay again.

Two nights in north london

We often visit north london and think this hotel is a great find. good parking at the hotel and only five minutes drive to east finchley tube station where you can leave the car for a very reasonable fee. hotel staff friendly and helpful, clean room and good breakfast. good vaue for money.

Comfortable hotel

All was perfect,the only problem was that the hotel is little far from the center of london.you must take the bus 263 for to go to the tube(east fincley)about 10 minutes and after you need other 20-25 minutes for to go to the center of london with the tube.the hotel is very cheap,we paid 153euros for 3 nights,and is very clean.the room is comfortableand the stuff very helpful.

Disappointed

Although there were "wet paint" signs around the hotel hallways, they obviously hadn't thought of going into the bedrooms and improving the conditions in there. we were really disappointed with the place. the bathroom was very, very tired - the bath panel was made of what looked like fibreboard that had obviously soaked up lots of water and started to disintegrate! pieces of the board had fallen off onto the floor and weren't cleaned away in the 3 days we were there! the shower curtain was stained and looked very old and dirty. the net curtain in the bedroom was dirty too and had holes in it. the bed mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable.

Consistant high standard

Very convenient hotel and in general everything was to a high standard. the room was clean however could do with some refurbishment as some fo the floor boards creak and parts of the wallpaper are starting to come off, in some case large parts have already come off. breakfast caters for all tastes and is of good quality.
