Das Hotel wurde 1860 erbaut und bietet insgesamt 36 Zimmer. Die angenehme Atmosphäre in den gemütlichen Tageszimmern beweist die traditionelle Gastfreundlichkeit Salzburgs. Es gibt ein hoteleigenes Restaurant. Es serviert nur Frühstück. Der aufmerksame Zimmerservice steht den Gästen zur Verfügung. Clean, friendly and good location to boot!
My husband and i stayed here july 5th. the hotel is well located, a three-minute walk to mirabel gardens and palace, and probably a 10 minute walk or less to the popular alstadt shopping street. we were very pleased with the location as it provided parking behind the hotel for a small daily fee of 10 euros. it was super convenient to transport luggage as the lot was just steps outside of the hotel. the staff was very kind and helpful. we were checked in by amalie who is part of the family operation. she was a delight and very helpful, as was brunno the next day. after we checked out, they were gracious enough to let us store our luggage downstairs in reception while we spent much of the next day touring salzburg. the room was fairly small but comfortable and clean. the bed and pillows were quite comfortable. the street noise can be loud as deliveries are made early in the morning. the hotel thoughtfully supplies fans in the rooms, so in addition to comfort, the "white noise" helps blot out the unwanted sounds. hotel mozart's breakfast is abundant. a basket of assorted breads are placed on each table, in addition to a buffet with sliced meats, a variety of cheeses, hard boiled eggs, cereals, fresh fruit, pastries, and nuts. i don't eat grains and i was still able to find sufficient options to fill me up. plus they happily bring you cappucinos or lattes. it was a little more expensive than some of the other comparable hotels but the reviews we read were favorable and so we opted to pay a little more and were not disappointed. all in all, it was a very pleasant experience.
