After reading the reviews mainly the bad ones i decided to take a gamble and i am glad i did. i spent 2 weeks here with my daughter from the 18th of july to the 1st of august and the only negative thing i would say the place is in need of new carpet and some paint but over all that's it. we arrived late as the airport messed up half the planes bags but had no problem checking in. i had no safe and went to the reception the next day and it was sorted out within 20 mins. i asked for an iron and it was at my door within 5 mins and they left it in my room the whole 2 weeks i was there. our room was cleaned everyday with new sheets and fresh towels everyday. the rooms are usually cleaned in the morning and the towels would come around 6.30 in the evening but most of the time we weren't there too busy having fun at the parks. the location to universal parks is very good only a 15 min walk also 2 doors down from kfc and 3 doors away from walgreens. hint if your doing the universal a bottle of water is $3 go to walgreens which is open 24 hours a 24 pack of water is $2.99 and your hotel room has a fridge. the staff at the hotel are very friendly especially the lady who brings the towels, there are ice machines, air conditioning and a dehumidifier leaves these on when you go out we were on the 3rd floor and heat rises. the hotel also has a pool which is crystal clear water and gets the sun all day and the pool area has little to no people in it. overall i am very happy with my stay as i said the place could use a lick of paint but we used it mainly for sleeping. i got home on tuesday around 1pm and within 6 hours of being home i was online booking this hotel for next year with my daughter and this time i booked in for 28 nights.
