Wonderful, friendly hotel in a great location

I stayed here with two friends for two nights. the staff were very kind and helpful and all spoke good english which was a great help, and not something that we had found in other hotels where we stayed in china. even though we arrived very early in the morning, way before check-in, they gave us one of the two rooms that we had booked immediately. the rooms are very nice and comfortable. we had booked one single room and deluxe twin. the bathroom of the latter was a bit old-fashioned, with a shower in the bath, but it was all very clean. our laundry was returned beautifully washed and ironed within the 24 hours stated. the reception staff were also very helpful about going to see the terracotta warriors on the bus (although we found a driver to take us as apparently the queues for the bus are very, very long), and also getting a taxi to go to the station when we left. the location is great for walking to the muslim quarter.
