The rooms were very small,and the price much to high, there is also no parking place only from 18.00 till 9.00 you can stay in a piblic parking place for 8 euro!! the orher ours you must pay the local cost!!!

Excellent hotel. we spent three nights here and found it comfortable and clean. the staff were very helpful and friendly. breakfast was self-service and there was plenty of choice. coffee not great but that seems to be normal in hotels at breakfast time. there was a pleasant, quiet bar. only fault for us was that the room was hot and the air-conditioning could have been more effective. we would happily go back here.

We were so impressed by the friendliness of the mercure grimaldi last year that we back a second time this year. the staff are extremely welcoming at reception, and made the checkin a pleasure even tho we arrived before noon. they spoke excellent english which is also useful. the rooms are very comfortable, spotless bed linen, but hotel is showing small signs of wear and tear, such as paintwork needed and stains in carpet. but overall, excellent value for money and a fabulous breakfast. we have recommended this hotel to friends who subsequently visited it and were equally impressed. it is ideally located between the beach and city centre. we are looking forward to our visit next year.

Whilst our room was a good size, the 2 rooms our 4 friends had were rather small. we wish we had upgraded to superior rooms. the breakfast was very good.

Hôtel bien situé, chambre agréable et bien équipée, mais on entend un peu trop les portes qui s'ouvrent et se ferment dans les pièces à côté. l'accès wi-fi ne pourrait-il pas être sinon gratuit, au moins moins cher? compte tenu du coût de l'abonnement mensuel qui est de5 euros eviron, 4,5 de l'heure est assez exagéré.

Just back from a fantastic stay in nice, in the mercure grimaldi hotel. hotel was excellent. good sized room, very clean and modern. the staff were very helpful, and spoke perfect english. the breakfast was top class, good selection of hot and cold dishes. location was superb - a few minutes from the sea, main shopping streets, cinema etc. we would have no hesitation in going back to this hotel on our next visit to nice. found very good restaurant nearby called aux 2 palmiers, behind hotel in bvd victor hugo - good food, excellent value.
