Nice location but terrible rooms and many drunk guests

My girlfriend and i were here for two nights. until the day we left our shower would not work - only a few droplets coming out of it. the whole first day the flush on our toilet did not work, neither the bathroom sink. additionally the toilet seat looked like it had never been cleaned before - there were unremovable yellowish stains on it. even though i talked to the front desk several times the problem was not resolved until the late morning we left. the door to the terrace wouldn't lock like it should so someone drilled a hole in both parts of the sliding door and put a bolt in it. the room i booked had a king-size bed for two - the room we got had to single beds. at the front desk we were told that staff would come to push the beds together and give us new sheets - nothing happened, so we had to do it ourselves. the hotel is full of americans and canadians that just want to eat and drink as much as they can. there will be loud music around the pool area and the beach and many drunk people. about the food - mass instead of class. buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner with almost exactly the same food. some was quite good - some was almost not eatable and tasted like being kept warm for days. one night we had an a la carte dinner and even this was no exceptional food like i would expect from a five star hotel. oh, and blackouts are booked within your stay if you want to or not. the beach is very nice and right next to the hotel. if you want a functioning beach chair you'll have to look for a while. but i would rather suggest you take a small walk up to the left of the beach to have some tranquility and don't be disturbed by "party guests". all in all i would not recommend a stay in this hotel since our room did not work properly and honestly was also not in the condition it should be in a five star hotel. if you are searching for mass instead of class your dreams will come true in this hotel.
