Hicimos el viaje el 16 de julio, todo muy bien, lo del pez fue todo un detalle. si os alojais en el último piso (red house) el ascensor no llega y toca subir a escaleras. la limpieza y el trato excelentes.

Great location - quiet and class area 5 mins from old town sq. rooms are spacious clean and quiet. great buffet (hot with cooked to order eggs benedict etc)breakfast and helpful staff. don't bother with any area other than jewish qtr and old town. walk to good food and beer on doorstep.

We had a wonderful stay at maximilian, most of the people at the reception were very helpful. wifi included and works :) maximilian has a great location, a great design, i loved the reading room and the honesty bar. breakfast was fantastic. a little difficult to ge some new shampoo every day, nedded to remind the mate, otherwise great.

Hotel maximilian it´s a very good option to visit prague. it´s in the center of the city. you can go walking anywhere. the staff are very professional and a good people. the rooms are perfect and the breakfast is very, very complete.

I just stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, from 21st-25th novenber 2009 and really enjoyed my stay. the rooms are big and spacious, with complementary tea and coffee. the breakfast is wonderful, with fresh fruit every morning and lots of varieties of tea. the staff are very helpful and friendly and there's an honesty bar for guests. you can also buy a bottle of wine in the local shop and drink it in this bar and the staff have no problem with it. the location is excellent, it's in a really nice part of the city centre, 3 minutes walk from the old town square and there are a few lovely bars and restaurants close to the hotel. this was my forth time in prague and without doubt this was the best hotel i'm stayed in. very relaxing athmosphere also.

Convenient location, obliging and helpful staff, lovely air conditioned room - not large, but very adequate - big and blissfully comfortable double bed, smashing spread for breakfast, clean and modern with all mod cons (even free internet). and all for a very reasonable price. hard to beat, i'd say.

The maximilian hotel looks like a traditionally beautiful old prague building on the outside, but is very modern, stylish and comfortable inside. our room on the first floor was quiet,comfortable and clean with a good bathroom (and excellent plumbing!). a continental breakfast was included in the price, but was so much more - everything from fresh fruits and cereals to scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages, plus fantastic bakery products. the staff are polite and helpful and the hotel is in a very convenient location, a few minutes' walk from old town square.

My fiance and i stay in the maximilian for 5 nights, the week leading up to easter. the hotel staff are very nice and friendly which was great. the hotel is beautiful, very clinical i.e. glass doors, huge mirrors etc this was very modern and very different to prague city which was very interesting and a nice change to your average hotel. we asked for a double room and so expected a double bed however we were allocated a twin bed room, this wasn't a major problem but just confirm for definate if you want a double bed! the honesty bar...i wouldn't really call it an honesty bar!!! my fiance and i were in it 7 times during our stay and each time we literally had walked in the door when a staff member followed us in (pretending to be checking something but really just watching us) we thought this was halarious as each time we were only having tea or coffee which is complimentary anyway! i had a thai massage during my stay, "the back special" and i would recommend it to anyone it was brilliant!! but be prepared to be in agony the next day!! i suffer from back problems so the massage was great however the internal muscle pain the next day was sore but managable! we brought our own dvd's which was a great idea as all the tv channels are non-english except cnn and so having our own dvds to watch whilst getting ready to go out or having a night in after a busy day was a great idea! the room service is also very cheap, we ordered burger and chips the first night and it was huge and only cost £2.50!! overall a great stay!

Excellent hotel, contemporary, modern, clean. great location, close to old town square. breakfast was good wth plenty of choice. avoid paying for the minibar, we discovered a supermarket about twenty yards away on the second day which was unbelieably cheap for a few drinks whilst you are etting ready to go out. having visited prague on a couple of revious occasions i would definitely recommend the maximilian hotel above previous hotels.
