It's a good thing the people at the front desk rotate...
Upon my arrival the hotel had screwed up my reservation, which was confirmed to be for 2 nights (dec 13-15). and instead of actually providing customer service and trying to find a solution the man at the front desk simply told me that i was wrong, i only had one night and i would have to contact my travel booking company; even after i showed him the confirmed reservation voucher i had. i was almost in tears since i was there with my daughter for a medical appointment the next day and new i wasn't going to be able to get back to the hotel for checkout time. i emailed hotels click and was reassured that my reservation was correct. the next morning the man at the front desk said that he couldn't confirm the reservation was for two nights yet b/c it was still early but not to worry, they would let me keep the room and come back later in the afternoon to confirm the reservation was for two nights. this was a much better experience than the previous night, which had left me sleepless. if it wasn't for the convenience of the skytrain and the second front desk staff i talked to i would most likely never stay here from my initial interaction with staff. thank you hotels click staff as well for correcting the river rock's mistake and ensuring my reservation was honored.
