Weekend with the lads

I went with 5 mates .......this hotel was very helpful caring and very obliging.......highly recommend this hotel as us 6 blokes had a great time in budapest

Good location

Easy access by public transportation from both trains and flights. exept from aircondition, rather quiet at night. breakfast ok, but nothing special. rooms much bigger than average in this hotel class.

Review hotel atlas budapest

Nice and clean hotel. location near city center and metro station. staff not so friendly. breakfast was ok but simple. the room with the twinbed was spacious, but located on the streetside, which made it impossible to sleep with the windows open because of the traffic and the ambulancesirens. the room was also very hot although we turned off the heat. the rooms on the inside of the hotel were more cool and less noisy. shower was nice and hot. the price was very good.

Ok hotel

Nice place but a bit of a walk into town (15-20 mins) sink leaked a bit but room was spot on and buffet ok for breakfast. staff friendly. be sure to visit bar dorado just down from the hotel for the authentic feel of a local pub and dont go into the chinese at the bottom of the street....be warned!

Good location, bad service

Hotel atlas has a good location and ok breakfest, but service, room and reception are of 1 star, not 3 star hotel. the room is basic and relatively clean, but reception desk is greeting you with no smile and 1 or 2 strange men(may be security) are sitting constantly in the lobby with stone faces. you don't feel comfortable or welcomed. in addition when we ask for taxi to airport they gave us no option but taxi with higher price of 5500 huf (the fair prices are 3000-4300 huf). when we ask to call to fair priced taxi company they refused telling that that is hotel's policy. i would not recommend people to stay in this hotel.
