The madison is a very nice hotel in downtown memphis . the front desk and concierge service is terrific. the rooms are solid. there is a nice, albeit small, lobby, as well as a bar/restaurant. the valet parking is expensive ($25/night) but there's also a garage right around the corner that's $12/day. most of the sights in memphis are within walking distance (graceland is an exception), even sun studio which is about a mile away. the hotel is also about a half a block from the trolley stops for two trolley lines. the madison is fairly expensive but generally worth it if you aren't on a tight budget.
