Great for families

We stayed at the bwp grand canyon squire inn in january, 2018 and we'd definitely stay again. the hotel is just a mile or so from the grand canyon national park (south rim) gate; the staff were friendly; the rooms clean and it has a warm indoor pool, hot tub, and bowling alley/games area - great for kids of all ages after a full day at the canyon. one grumble was that the wifi was painfully slow. while we were there, they'd shut down the light-breakfast place so we had to take the buffet. however, after explaining that i just wanted coffee and a danish they only charged us for my husband and son, not me - nice touch.

Nice upscale near the park

At check-in we were given the option of a room in the main building or a room in a separate building where we could park at the room. we chose the latter. it was like a well-appointed motel room. the main building rooms may have been a little nicer. it was pricey but was what i expected to pay for a close-in room. you can take a town shuttle into the park but, if you go into the park by mid-morning, you can probably find parking either at the visitor's center or in the nearby grand canyon village. we had very nice dinner and breakfast buffets, priced reasonably, in the main building.

Grand canyon trip

We loved the location to the south rim of the grand canyon. the rooms were very spacious and i loved the bath tub. the hotel had a lot of amenities - we had dinner at the buffet one night - very good.

Grand canyontrip

Were really disappointed to hear the pool was taken out over a year ago - after a day of hiking it would have been fantastic to take a swim. we were told there was a jacuzzi but laughed when we saw it. for the size of the hotel, it was just a home jacuzzi with capacity for 6 people, water was cool and not all the jets worked. so for the price of the room, all was not good breakfast buffet was good though.

Estancia en el hotel

Las sábanas no estaban limpias, eran sábanas ya usadas. el desayuno, de lo peor. ni en residencia de estudiantes ni en ningún otro sitio he encontrado nunca nada parecido... es mejor tomarlo y comer algo fuera. el hotel está formado por distintos edificios y no todos tienen ascensor. si te toca un segundo piso, tienes que cargar con las maletas por las escaleras.
