Décevant

Chambre petite mal insonorisée, pas de wifi gratuit: payant même pour un accès dans le hall. copieux et bon petit déjeuner.

A less than perfect experience

We chose holiday inn regents park because of its location. here we were not disappointed, but in almost all other respects we were. on arrival there was no porter on duty to help with our bags. one of three elevators was out of action. the corridors were cluttered with breakfast trays (in the afternoon) and cleaning trolleys. the no-smoking room stank of smoke and was generally dirty. the towels and bedlinen were old and tired. on the plus side: the reception staff were friendly and efficient. the breakfast buffet was good.

Hol inn regents park

The hotel was easy to find, only a 2 minute walk from great portland st tube station. it was within walking distance of oxford st and regent st so was a good base for shopping. the room was comfortable and the staff all polite and friendly. breakfast was excellent but the restaurant was very busy and staff were struggling to keep up, we had to queue for a table.

Good weekend

We satayed at the holiday inn, regents park for a weekend in november.the rooms were not massive but clean and adequate. bathroom small but again adequate for a weekend stay. breakfast good, plenty of choices. staff friendly and helpful. would use this hotel again.

We enjoyed our stay...

Service at reception was good. room was standard hotel size. tv worked! (with ceefax!) service at breakfast was excellent - plenty of helpful, pleasant staff, so no waiting for tables etc. close proximity to underground station an advantage (2/3 mins)

Holiday inn-regents park-london-uk

Aside from the air conditioning grill hanging loose from the ceiling of our room, the room was larger than anticipated. previous reviews had led us to believe the room to be miniscule and whilst we had stayed in larger rooms before, this was perfectly adequate for our needs. do not stay here if you are in search of scenic views. the receptionist was extremely welcoming after our long journey and the room was clean and had all that we needed. location is central and bars and restaurants are a short walk away. surprisingly quiet for the middle of one of the world's busiest cities !! the price through hotelsclick.com was competitive, we would have no problem staying in this hotel again :)

Ok - good location

Our experience was a little bit skewed by the fact that the default option for our double room booking was a smoking room (stinky with slightly scorched furniture!). as the hotel was very full, it seemed unlikely that we would be able to stay there. however, at the last minute, a non-smoking twin room was available. clean and fresh, but small especially the bathroom (don't book here if cat-swinging is a hobby). breakfast was absolutely lovely though and the staff in reception were polite and courteous and did give the impression that they were trying very hard to resolve our problems. the location was top notch and apart from the mix up and the size (and twin-ness!) of the rooms, it was ok. i would recommend this hotel out of season, where you might get a better room choice.

Excellent weekend break at the holiday inn regents park

We had an excellent weekend break at this hotel. the location is good, a short distance to great portland street tube station and plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. check in was swift and efficient, the room was quite spacious, the bathroom small but very clean. breakfast was plentiful and varied with alot of friendly staff willing to assist. we would book this hotel again
