My first night in toronto i was unable to sleep until about 4am. i went to bed at 11pm and fell asleep immediately due to sheer exhaustion of my travels. my room was around the corner and almost at the other end of the hall away from the elevators. i was woken at about 1:30am from various groups in the hall screaming and partying, yelling back and forth from the elevator area down the halls to coordinate party plans with each other. it seemed that every group for the next hour that waited for the elevators had to repeat the same hysterics and screaming, high 5's and yelling profanities (for fun) at each other. this continued until about 3:30am with no hotel staff controlling this.
