I stayed at the hilton imperial dubrovnik on 3-5 july 2018 and i was absolutely pleased by the excellent service and comfort provided by the hotel. the staff of the hotel (at the front, restaurant, etc.) were all very warm and friendly, making for a very delightful environment and experience. the general ambience of the hotel was grand and elegant. my room was in the new wing, just a minute's walk across the driveway from the main building and the room was large and spacious and came complete with a bathtub, hairdryer, iron and ironing board as well as safe deposit box. the location of the hotel was very good - just a short 5 minute walk down the hill right to the gate of the old city. i'd like in particular to compliment the concierge mario cvinar for his assistance in helping me organize my day tours from dubrovnik to mostar, medjugorje and montenegro. soon after making my booking in singapore, i wrote to the hotel to ask about possible day tours and mario was prompt in responding. he provided me with very detailed and comprehensive information about the possible places to visit, and gave me good suggestions of the options available. i opted to do 2 private tours with a driver and guide provided by the hotel and all was well arranged before i arrived in dubrovnik. i thoroughly enjoyed the day tours. they were well-organised, the itinerary was good and the driver and guide was friendly, caring for my safety and comfort and shared very detailed and interesting information with me about the places we visited. my stay at the hilton imperial dubrovnik contributed greatly to a most enjoyable and memorable time in dubrovnik and i certainly will stay there when i visit dubrovnik again.
