Vacation in toronto

The hotel was satisfactory, although the rooms were not serviced very well. the rooms were not cleaned properly with the carpets and worktops dirty. the room next door was obviously full of young people who made continuous noise until the early hours of the morning with part of the problem being connecting doors between the rooms which didnt help the noise. it took two or three complaint to staff before the noise subsided slightly and it wasnt until the last night (sunday as i think the persons next door had checked out) that the noise ended. the location of the hotel was not very good (the east side of the city) the area looked very run down and i feel it would have been quite intimidation to elderly or families with young children walking to the hotel at night as there was street beggars and persons sleeping rough all around the area. in general the hotel was alright and what i would expect for the price. the breakfast was adequite and the staff were polite.
