My friends and i spend one day at the hard rock hotel at bali kuta. it is very near to kuta beach and there are lots of shops around it. the location is excellent. the hotel is clean but very big... there are three wings to it, thus at first my friends and i were a bit lost.

We have just stayed for 3 nights at the hard rock and thoroughly enjoyed it. we were in wing 5 and found the room spacious, clean and quiet. the staff were always very helpful and friendly. the pool is huge and there is enough nooks and crannies so that you don't feel crowded despite the number of guests. the house band playing each night was great - they mostly covered recent songs but also went right back to the 70s with the village people. its a great location in the heart of kuta, but you wouldn't know it once you're inside the hotel.
