Enjoyed staying at this jewel diagonally across from the alamo and the actual site of where gen. santa ana fired the canons that breached the walls. it's also the site of the city's first office building, which is where the hotel gets its name. what's even better is that the adjoining 1909 taproom offers $4 craft beers and texas wines from 5-11 p.m. and a breakfast that's a cut above any other hotel in the mornings. really neat place and glad i had the chance to stay there!
