We loved our stay at the royal york. there was no skimping on all the extras that very few hotels offer these days. we would definitely recommend this hotel to pleasure and business travellers alike. it is directly across from union station which made transport to and from the airport so handy.

I was very impressed with the hotel. when we were suppose to check-in, the computers were down. however, the staff, esp the manager, went out of their way to please ever customer. the customer service there, was probably the best i've ever witness. the rooms were nice and clean. they were basic rooms, for nothing overboard. but, clean. the staff always had smiles on the faces and were very kind. the pool was also nice and clean. it was a nice friendly environment. we usually try new hotels when we go back to an area. this will be a hotel we will go back to in the near future.

I love grand old hotels and the fairmont royal york does not disappoint. from excellent service to elegant rooms and amenities, this is the type of grandeur i expect. would definitely return next time i'm in toronto.
