The hotel

Beautiful, superb accommodation and facilities. wonderful staff, discreet, attentive and helpful. food tasty, well prepared and plentiful. the hotel blends beautifully modern accommodations and old world charm.

Just ok

Hotel was lovely we stayed in room 706 which was a total health hazard 1st plug with no back on it from radio at bedside drawer which i got a electric shock from informed reception they sent a guy to fix quick that was ok then i plugged iron in & wire was cut in middle & tape to keep it together which i also got another electric shock from took photos of both items. went & showed reception staff & they did get me a new room upgraded to a suite as the room was obviously a hazard. still have the photos i emailed them to reception still no word back from hotel staff at all.

Nice location and original building

We had a nice friday night (including a wedding) and saturday stay here. decor in good repair, all the local staff were most welcoming and gave you the feeling that nothing was too much trouble, however a few of the eastern european staff were not quite so helpful. beautiful grounds and picturesque old buildings, slightly spoilt by new accomodation to the rear which clearly wasn't fussed over by the architect. quite far from the city centre, but close to the belfast city (george best) airport. all in all a nice retreat for the weekend (with excellent full irish breakfst included), but probably a little pricey.
