Carlton hotel budapest stay for two 60 year olds

Stayed at carlton for 3 nights. greeted well at book in. no waiting for room. double room very good. no noise at night. air conditioning in room needed as it was very warm and stuffy. hotel situated in superb location for all sight seeing. breakfast very good. lots of warm and cold food.. something for everybody. free coffee juice and biscuits in afternoon in reception. rooms were spotlessly cleaned. kettle in room. also coffee and tea bags . i would strongly reccomend this hotel . suitable for all ages.

Hotel carlton

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, situato a 10 minuti a piedi da buda, posizione facilmente raggiungibile e comodamente servita da mezzi pubblici. acqua in frigorifero sempre rimpiazzata gratuitamente e piccolo buffet ogni pomeriggio.

Ottimo

Hotel a due passi dal bastione dei pescatori e dal centro di buda. a 15 minuti dalla zona commerciale di pest. personale disponibilissimo. camere sempre pulite e riordinate.colazione buona.

Ottimo, hotel buona posizione

Ottima posizione a 100 metri dal ponte delle catene (buda, zona tranquilla) e pochi passi dalla zona di pest (piu vivace). albergo pulito e ottima colazione.

Splendida posizione

L'hotel si trova alla fine del ponte delle catene lato citta' vecchia (buda). in pochi passi si raggiunge il posto piu' bello di budapest : il bastione dei pescatori e la chiesa di mattia, splendidi di sera! le camere sono caldissime ed il riscaldamento non e' regolabile: non portatevi pigiami pesanti!

Cudowny hotel

Good location in buda part od budapest realy close to public transport (tram, metro), room clean and in good size equiped with minibar (fridge) and electric ketle ++++, bed very comfortable, free internet acces in lobby. buffet breakfast in a rich choice. i realy recomeded this hotel.

Nice and neat

A nice, basic hotel with a very good location, walking distance to buda and pest side. it might be a good idea to book a room from the backside of the building - there's some noise from the traffic on the streetside. good and healthy breakfast. rooms quite small but otherwise ok, maybe a bit worn out.

Good location, good rooms, good value!

Very nice hotel with good rooms. also free wireless internet in the rooms. clean and tidy. breakfast god, but nothing special. staff polite and very helpful (but did not smile much, though). location great - 5 mins walk to the castle, 15 mins walk across the chain bridge to the pest side. if the weather is good, all places of interest in the center of the city can easily be reached be foot. if needed, the nearest metrostaion is 10 mins walk from the hotel. several good restaurants in the area, although one has to walk a bit around to find them. price was excellent as we went during the "budapest winter invasion" campaign. definetly recommended, and would stay there again. was happy we didn't stay at the more expensive and famous hotels, as they where located far less convenient and cosy.

Excellent place for a holiday with fantastic location!

We had an excellent visit to the carlton this past weekend for our holiday. we couldn't have picked a better location with this being just at the bottom of castle hill for easy access to the buda hills and just on the buda side of the chain bridge for easy access to everything pest has to offer. also easily accessible to metro and tram stops. terrific breakfast buffet each morning adds to the value of the hotel. rooms were clean and neat. great for business or holiday, but not if you are looking for a luxury hotel.

It was a nice stay.

Very close to the great hill area, about 5 mins walk to the metro station & supermartket. a few nice restaurants around the area. rooms are clean, fantastic, and most importantly, there's free wireless internet service.

The last 3 hotels i've stayed using hotel clicks

Vander valk ( holland ) i've known this hotel for the past 10 years and the price i got from hotelsclick is so much better apart hotel( munich ) the room is good for a 4 star but the staff are not good in giving direction. in fact it is way down north and they did not have a map showing where the hotel is in munich . i got lost on the way back with my car that i hired a taxi infront of me to take me bak to the hotel which cost me 15 euros. as for the carlton ( budapest ) that was a big lie sorry for saying that but the room is not even a 2 star category. for instance there was no room number sign at the door that the bell boy had to show us which room it is . once you enter the bathroom was so tiny i would say a little bit bigger than the airplane's. had broken tiles and mildew in the ceiling and looked old and not well maintained.between the front footboard of the bed and the wall it is only 2 foot distance that you hardly can go in . breakfast was done cheaply and the direction is hard to find. i won't recomend it to anyone - sorry
