Boutique hotel in the heart of frankfurt
It could have easily been another room with ikea-like, typical european *functional* furniture, but in the end this fantastic place does rise above such classifications! to be sure, the hotel is apparently new or was recently renovated, which does lend to its top notch conditions. still, as far as boutique hotels go, it was well-priced (not quite as low as off-season dates, but definitely not the ridiculous surge pricing that comes with nearly all hotels during conventions). the room was spacious and had beautiful quirky touches, and all was clean and spotless. we had a quiet room, which was a plus given all the construction outside. you just never know how loud the rooms are going to be when in the middle of a rapidly growing area with cranes and bulldozers all around. the area right around the hotel isn't much to speak for, except it does have pretty decent access to both the s-bahn and u-bahn lines, just steps away from the new mall, and actually not too bad of a walk into town. if you're weak on your feet and don't like taking any public transportation, then we'd recommend getting a hotel that is more central. otherwise, the hotel benefits outweighs its slightly outside-the-center location. overall, we would gladly recommend this less-known hotel!
