Have stayed in this hotel several times - on this occasion i felt that things are slipping a little. there were no towels in our room one day and the room that i requested and have stayed in three times previously was not available. the alternative room was adequate but there was no view.

An older hotel in a very good location, close to the attractive massena square and just minutes from the seaside. the hotel design and outfit not my personal taste, but the staff was very helpful and friendly and even the french start speaking good english these days. breakfast good but be on time otherwise the buffet may be plundered by eastern european noisy guests. rooms were small but with good beds and the location quiet, and close to the perfect public transport system of nice. overall a decent place but somewhat overpriced for its quality.
