This was a very basic hotel and rather expensive for what you got. the breakfast was minimal, rooms were clean and clean towels each day. staff were very friendly and helpful. the downside of this hotel was that because it was just off the main street it was extremely noisy and as we had to book out at 11am there was no shower facilities or changing facilities(we did not leave until 6pm).

Excellent hotel. reception staff very friendly and extremely helpful. nothing was too much trouble for them. hotel position very convenient for railway station, shopping, promenade and many restaurants. nice little breakfast room for continental breakfast. new tram service runs alongside hotel.
