Although the hotel was under refurbishment and we were not allowed to open the windows, there was air conditioning. in fact, on the days that we were there, there was a public holiday & no renovating work was being done, so we opened the windows anyway.

Extremely clean, air conditioned, excellent location, friendly staff, modest but comfy room, good price. poor breakfast (sweet pastries and hot drinks from a vending machine) and poor sound insulation - get ear plugs! may not be suitable for people with limited mobility and families with small children - steps, heavy doors and a small lift. no traffic noise but the tiny inner court yard was dark and fumey and we couldn't keep the window open. good location for cheaper bars and restaurants close to the la rambla.

I clienti che rientrano a tarda notte non si curano minimamente di chi già sta dormendo e nessuno si preoccupa di avvisarli per tarda notte intendo le due le tre le quattro e oltre delmattino, la colazione è erogata da una macchinetta e ci son dei piccoli mottini confezionati, lacia molto a desiderare nello stesso stabile c'erano i lavori di un appartamento diacente ed inizianavano prima delle sei del mattino con trapano e battiti infernali il tubo si scarico dell'albergo passava vicino alla mia stanza ed era atroce, il prossim anno tornerò a barcellona di certo non in questo albergo

This is the best one star hotel i have ever stayed at. when we went in the entrance we were a bit wary as it could have done with a coat of paint. but the rooms were very clean and tidy. maid service every day and clean towels every day. bed linen was immaculate. rooms not huge and could do with a lick of paint but were cleaned every day. the breakfast left a lot to be desired but for the price this is not surprising. i would definately stay here again as it is so well situated. very close to la ramblas and place catalunya. if you go visit the jules verne on la ramblas very hospitable place.

L' hotel è carino, anche se pensavo ad una stanza un pò più grande ... si sentono molti rumori con le stanze attigue degli altri ospiti...per il resto molto pulito e sopratutto comodo per la posizione a due pasi dalla rambla ma in una strada tranquilla.
