Outdoors and Swimming Pool The villa, with its stone walls dating back to the 1700s, is in the heart of Chianti, with well-kept woods all around, perfect for walks. A cured garden on a hill leads down from the villa, with a 30 metre path with some steps, towards the splendid fenced pool with infinity edge, measuring 6 metres by 12 with a depth of 1.2-2 metres. On one side of the pool, on a terrace, guests will find an area furnished with a table, sunbed, stonework barbecue and a shaded area where you can relax or have a drink. Just above is a loggia with table, chairs and ping pong table, shaded by trees for the warmer parts of the day. On the ground floor of the villa there is another terrace overlooking the valley, accessible from the living room and from the kitchen, complete with a large table where you can dine whilst admiring the green panorama. The entire outdoor area, with flowering bushes, is very well kept and has automatic sprinklers. Access to the villa via a short stretch of gravel road, no problem for any kind of car. Covered parking within the property.Interior The stone villa has been completely restored, with taste and elegance, by the noble family of Florence who own it. The old cotto flooring and wood beams on the ceilings have been maintained in order to conserve the rural properties of its era. The water and electricity systems are very recent, as well as the air conditioning in the bedrooms and living room. The furnishing is very luxurious, with many antique items. The sofas are large and spacious, the book shelves are full of books, novels and art books, some in English. 3 steps lead to the ground floor entrance, leading to the large and bright living room with satellite TV, radio, DVD player, with an arch separating it from the dining room, with two French doors leading to the terrace with a large table, perfect for outdoor dinners or breakfasts overlooking the landscape. The terrace is also accessible from the fully-equipped kitchen. Rounding up the ground floor is the washing/storage room with washing machine, dryer, sink and glass door leading to the terrace and a small bathroom reached from 4 steps. A 16-step staircase leads to the first floor, as well as a 9-step outdoor staircase passing through a small covered terrace. Here there is a living room with fireplace, satellite TV and two windows with a great view of Chiantis woods and vineyards on the side with the pool, as well as one large double bedroom with air conditioning, two panoramic windows and bathroom with bathtub, one bedroom with 2 beds with air conditioning and safe (which can become a double bedroom upon request), one bathroom with shower. The first floor has 15 steps which lead up to the second floor, with one bedroom with 2 beds (which can become a double upon request) with air conditioning and panoramic window, one bathroom with bathtub.
