Lovely hotel
We have stayed at the drago about 5 years ago and to be honest the main reason we returned was that i found the hotel online at a bargain price - we usually go to correlajo but knew the area was lovely having stayed in jandia / morro jable in the past also.
the drago was much nicer than we remembered actually. the reception area is pretty impressive and the layout is good, the rooms are lovely and i particularly liked the green wash furniture.
the food was good - especially in the first week when about 150 german outlaw bikers stayed, i think they were afraid not to serve good food, lol. one thing we noticed is that the food remained hot all the time, usually, no matter how well prepared or nice it is, it goes cold, presumably the drago invested in better warming equipment or something.
there are a few little niggles - like no mosquito nets at the windows - which we had to open at night as the air con wasn't particularly good, and only a very basic tv remote. most clientele are german and the tv is therefore mainly german programmes - not that we went on holiday to just watch tv, but you can't drink all night every night for 16 nights, we just fancied the odd movie and a glass of wine of 5 but couldn't do this and we usually like to. other hotels allow you to use a remote that can change the language or add sub-titles for a deposit.
overall, a good stay in a very attractive, well run hotel, decent food, nice bars and very well tended and pretty gardens.
would go again.
