The building design shows elements typical of the creative work by famous architect Fydor Lidval (Johann-Friedrich Lidval) high Renaissance arches, balconies on the upper floors, restraint and refinement of decorative elements, respect for comfort, and natural lighting. It is part of UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located in a very quiet area protected all around from the street noise, the hotel belongs to the historical part of the City and the majority of Saint Petersburg places of interest are within walking distance or easily accessible by public transport. Most of the shopping malls are also situated nearby.
