##Description **Villa La Cittadella** is a small borgo located in Il Toppo, within a 12-hectare park, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and chestnut groves. Città Di Castello, in the Umbrian part of Alta Valtiberina, is about 25 km away. Citerna, a municipality included in the prestigious list of "The most beautiful town in Italy", is located about 38 km away. Umbertide, in the upper Tiber valley, is about 26 km away. The international airport of Umbria can be reached in about 50 minutes by car. This Borgo dates back to the 17th century and offers stunning views of the Umbrian Valtiberina. All facilities were renovated while preserving their original architecture. The walls with exposed stone are the undisputed protagonists of the exterior. The different units are connected to each other by gravel paths. The borgo features a pool with a furnished solarium, an organic vegetable garden and a small fishing pond. Check-in operations with key delivery are performed on site. Late check-in must be reported in advance. The interiors are light and airy, with terracotta floors and wooden ceilings. Villa la Cittadella can be considered as an “eco-friendly borgo”, as it is able to generate, through a photovoltaic system, the energy necessary for all buildings.
