I haven't been to blackpool for years and would not chose it for a vacation but friends from the south were on a festive break and so, living in manchester i joined them for a couple of days. i was amazed by the hotel, the taxi driver said it was the best in blackpool and he was right. the interior resembled hotels in the usa, so clean, fabulous room, lots of heat (it was 3 below outside). the food was lovely and the staff, all young and seemingly local, were amazing, all youthful and friendly. the first thing i did on returning home was to look up the hotel chain on the web and sadly the only other one they have is in the isle of man, otherwise i would have booked at once.
