Colombia is located in the northwestern part of South America; the country is bordered to the northwest by Panama, to the east by Venezuela and Brazil, to the south by Ecuador and Peru, and it is kept wet by the Pacific Ocean to the west and by the Caribbean Sea to the north.

From a geographical point of view, Colombia is divided into 5 different regions which show very different landscapes. The official language in Colombia is Spanish, but there are about 80 languages ​​related to the different ethnic groups, which are still spoken. The capital and largest city of the country is Bogotá.
