Das von mir gebuchte excelsior ist zur zeit geschlossen. die beiden doppelzimmer wurden umgebucht in das nh hotel ciyty west. dies erfuhr ich erst nach mehrmaligen telefonaten. wo das nh hotel city west allerdings 4 sterne her hat ist mir schleierhaft. kaugummi auf dem teppich, löcher in der gardine und überall staub. kurzum, ziemlich abgewohnt und heruntergekommen. einziger lichtblick, das bett, das freundliche personal und das tolle frühstücksbuffet

Das hotel ist zu empfehlen, die lage in der nähe vom bahnhof zoo, ku-damm ist sehr gut. das gebuchte zimmer und das bad ist klein. dafür ein hervorragendes frühstücksbuffet und sehr freundliches personal.

i have used this hotel two times before, and i will certainly use this hotel again. good standard to a reasonable price, not far from the communication center zoologischer garten. breakfast was exellent, the room a bit small, but it does not matter so much. when in berlin as a tourist you do not stay much in the room anyhow.

Very close to ku'dam st. where all the shopping is. close to public transportation. great breakfast. the room was very small :-(

Loved the lobby and the restaurant. they have nice, cool, clean rooms. not a big fun of the bathrooms, hope they will change them. lovely reception personel, hopefull. the price is really good for this location and the star rating. all in all i would come back for sure!

Uns hat es relativ gefallen. gesamteindruck allerdings eher mau. in der duschwand das gummi spackig - mh- sollte mal gewechselt werden. der toilettenpapierhalter sollte befestigt werden - handwerker hat es aber nicht wirklich hinbekommen - weiterhin extrem wacklig. auf dem flur der etage erwartet uns ein doch - eher ekliges, angesüfftes - rotes sofa, auf welches ich mich definitiv niemals setzen würde - macht überhaupt kein gutes bild. eingangshalle am empfang sehr einladend mit bar - großer fernseher usw. mehrsprachiges personal - absolut angenehm. frühstücksbüfett reichhaltig, lecker - unbedingt zu emfehlen.

Hotel molto bello a 5minuti dalla stazione zoo da cui passano molte delle linee principali della metro, frequentato più che altro da gente che viene a berlino per lavoro. staff sempre disponibile e competente, camere pulite.

The hotel was ideally placed for exploring berlin, within walking distance of many attractions and as it is so close to the zoo station you can get anywhere in berlin within ease. the rooms are a little small with not much room for storing luggage etc. and the buffet breakfast suffered from being a little on the cool side, although there was plenty choice. overall a good choice of hotal right on the ku-dam for eating and drinking too.

Having stayed at the hotel excelsior berlin 3 times previously, we knew what to expext. this is an excellent hotel to stay at for a short or long city break, for its excellent location to the main shopping area and the am zoo staition links to all over the german capital. the hotel is a very clean and a joy to stay at, and has an excellent returant for guests and public, which serves lovely meals, at not to expensive prices. i would highly recommend staying here for your break.

We had a very pleasant stay at the excelsior berlin. the staff were very helpful, friendly and just nice. the room was comfortable, though on the 8th floor we could not open the window. we had a lovely dinner (cajun) in your restaurant and enjoyed the athmosphere and good service. we booked on the internet and the price was very good, better than some 3 star hotels in berlin. we will stay with you again should we make a further visit to your beautiful city. regards r maher nottingham

Brilliant location. very comfortable rooms. great to have tea and coffee making facilities. breakfast was excellent as was the room service menu. bathrooms maybe in need of modernisation. don't think air conditioning units worked.
