We were keen to visit the ashmolean museum and the hotel, which is just opposite, was perfectly situated and good for most sights and colleges too. the hotel has old-fashioned charm and glamour and we had a clean and very comfortable room. the hotel dinner is a bit pricey but beautifully served and the dining room impressed us with the elegant victorian decor. a good experience!

I have stayed some times at the randolph and enjoy to stay at the hotel. it's a good hotel when you want to explore oxford, and i like sitting in the bar having a pint.

Great hotel, service, food and location. we had stayed here previously 30 yrs ago and still remembered that it was as good then as now.

What a fantastic hotel. with creaking grandure, the most amazing staircase and a top location for visiting oxford. the staff were friendly and helpful when we needed a room change. the bar and the breakfast were topnotch. really luxurious for a weekend with a friend. i'm hoping to go back with my husband. he's love it.

A very disappointing hotel expected more for a 5 star .room shabby dirty carpet, socket coming off wall , hairdryer dangerous melting .when reported to reception unhelpful.service in tearoom dreadful waited 10mins for a table to be laid. a further 20mins for a capuccino costing £4.95. car parking was abysmal we were directed to an underground car park no assistance with luggage and charged £29.95 by the hotel.
