This hotel is a bit dated, but hey ho ! so am i. i like places with a lived-in feel, not plastic everywhere. the breakfast could not be better with plenty of everything. the beds were made up every day and floor hovered. the towels were also changed every day which i have never had anywhere. bar prices were reasonable and entertainment on two nights of the week.

This is a very pleasant budget hotel which is close to the beach and town. it is also easy to get to from the bus station. breakfast is very good. staff are friendly. only downside is that there are a bare minimum of tv channels.

Wir (52 u. 53 j.) waren für 1 woche im stafford hotel. das zimmer war recht dunkel und altmodisch eingerichtet, entsprach aber der beschreibung und ist eben für diese preisklasse in ordnung. zum glück hatten wir gutes wetter, einen regentag hätte ich dort nicht verbringen wollen. die lage war prima, hafen, restaurants, supermarkt, zentrum, fahrradverleih, busterminal waren in wenigen minuten zu fuß zu erreichen. das frühstück war reichhaltig und gut. alles war sehr sauber. aus dem zimmer über uns hörten zeitweise schritte, ansonsten war es aber ruhig im hotel (dabei waren an mehreren tagen auch schulklassen auf klassenfahrt dort untergebracht). an der rezeption wurde uns jederzeit freundlich geholfen.

This hotel is very close to the best shops in st helier. it is also close to the business district and the beach. although, it is a budget hotel, the breakfast is very good.
