We stayed at the sofitel lisbon liberdade last summer and we had a great stay. the hotel is located on a nice tree-lined boulevard right opposite of the metro station and is a few minutes walk from the city center. room was great and staff were very friendly. would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at the sofitel for a couple of nights in october. hotel was comfortable but limited in facilities. didn't use the gym or look at it. tried to book a table for dinner on the sunday evening (admittedly at about 7p.m.) but it was full. didn't find the female who we spoke to in the restaurant very helpful. we ate at an outside restaurant which was very good, comos. breakfast was very good but we had to queue for about 5/10 minutes for a table. all the facilities in the hotel seem to be in miniature i.e. restaurant, reception and foyer. staff are very nice and when whatever we requested was dealt with in minutes. our television seemed to be temperamental but again they were there in minutes. nice toiletries and very comfortable bed.

Le personnel est très aimable; la chambre avait une taille standard européen; le petit déjeuner est copieux; la localisation est excellente: à quelques minutes à pied des coins intéressants tels que la cathedral de la sé, castelo de são jorge, pl. rossio, pl. du commerce, chiado et bairro alto; le soirs on peut s'en passé de transports publiques. j'y retournerai certainement!

Cosas buenas: desayuno fantastico. cama muy comoda. amabilidad de todo el staff. situación cosas malas: habitaciones mal insonorizadas. desagues baño embozados, inadmisible en un hotel de 5*
